The Systems Support Analyst 4 performs advanced level network support, diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution for routine to complex issues. Independently identifies and troubleshoots chronic incidents, performs in depth analysis and develops/facilitates/implements permanent resolution.Makes decisions on recovery actions and solicits input from Technical Support Organizations and vendors when dealing with complex issues. Manages vendors to drive recovery efforts. Follows procedures to coordinate and/or implement complex operationally driven changes. Responds to break/fix issues, escalating to and managing vendors as needed. Is involved in the Testing, certification, installation and configuration of replaced and upgraded network hardware and software. Monitors and maintains network equipment. Maintains documentation. Applies a general understanding of technical dependencies and alternatives to support customer needs in a 24x7 environment. Updates technology incident records and documents all troubleshooting, diagnostic and recovery activities for significant problems. Performs incident record maintenance and follows all standards in regards to ticket updating, resolving, closing, task creation and ticket rerouting. Updates and reviews IT Operations standard operating procedures and recovery documentation. May work with vendors and engineers to develop and enhance documentation. Required Qualifications 5 years of systems support analysis experience 5 years of Networking experience Desired Qualifications LAN (Local Area Network experience WAN (Wide Area Network) experience Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment Knowledge and understanding of internet traffic flow as it relates to the network and application layers Knowledge and understanding of network capture analysis and troubleshooting Knowledge and understanding of network engineering technologies, all layers of OSI model Knowledge and understanding of network firewalls Knowledge and understanding of network fundamentals, such as routing, subnets, Knowledge and understanding of network infrastructure systems (routing, switching, load balancing, or firewalls) and internet technologies Knowledge and understanding of technology support: logically analyzing, diagnosing, and solving technology problems (network, application, or field hardware) Knowledge and understanding of technology support: operational support for network infrastructure ( switches or routers) Knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting complex network topologies Cisco Certifications (CCNA/CCNP) Job Expectations Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
