Summary/Objective:
In this critical role as a business partner, the HR Manager maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
This position is responsible for a wide range of functions including: HR Strategy development and implementation, organization design, development and effectiveness planning and implementation, talent acquisition and onboarding, talent management/employee development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and legal compliance.
Essential Functions:
1. Organizational Development
Drives organization development results through highly effective succession planning and implementation through ongoing talent assessment and development to continuously develop bench strength. Work with managers to ensure that feedback and development are an ongoing process throughout the year.

2. Talent Management
Partners with the leadership team on coaching and development of their employees on a variety of topics including teambuilding, leadership effectiveness and development, job design, organization structure, and creating effective development assignments.

3. HR Strategy
Works with the leadership team to develop human resource strategies to align the organizational needs of today's challenges, anticipates the future organizational needs and puts plans in place to ensure results, supporting the division's growth initiatives.

4. Employee Engagement
Leads the ongoing effort to have an environment of positive employee relations and employee engagement through a variety of methods including benchmarking best practices, proactive employee relations, and effective communication and measurement techniques. Maintains a union-free environment.
Is an effective change agent who develops initiatives and implements results to foster a culture of engagement, innovation and flexibility to meet the division's business objectives.

5. Compensation & Benefits
Oversees the administration of the hourly compensation and benefit programs to ensure fairness and competitiveness and provides competitive information on salaried compensation and benefit programs to the corporate office.

Provides legal guidance to leadership, as needed.
Ensures that all supervisors and managers have a good understanding of the company's internal policies as well as impactful laws instrumental to support internal equity and legal compliance.

7. Talent Acquisition
Utilizes available tools to implement and monitor a successful hiring process to acquire top talent as efficiently as possible.
Ensures an effective onboarding process, maximizing employee performance in the most reasonable timeframe.

8. Global Alignment
Works with other departments and/or locations to develop and improve global programs to support employee development and business growth.
Assists in the development or modification of policies, supporting the current and future needs of the organization.

Required Education and
Experience:
BS Degree in Management, Business, Human Resources or a related field
Experience working in a global manufacturing environment.
Must have experience in all areas of Human Resources with significant experience and success in organization design, development and succession planning within a business unit
A minimum of 10 years' progressive human resources experience, including direct supervision, which resulted in working with managers to develop strategies and implement plans resulting in strong succession plans and the development of leaders at all levels of the organization
Proven track record of having the ability to get results in a highly collaborative environment without direct authority.
Must have a strong sense of urgency in addition to the ability to prioritize and complete projects in a timely manner.
Strong interpersonal communication, persuasion, and creative problem-solving skills
Must approach the position with a value-added business perspective
Possess strong diagnostic, assessment and decision-making skills; outstanding ability to influence and build relationships within the organization and with external sources. Must be a persuasive communicator in one-on-one, small group or large settings.
Experience coaching leadership and providing motivation to improve employee development, and providing guidance to effectively handle performance issues in a timely, legal, and constructive manner to ensure the highest level of organization performance.
