Apptad, Inc. in Chandler, AZ is seeking ETL Developers to analyze user requirements in order to develop, create and modify data extraction methods utilizing ETL tools. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering principles and concepts, as well as experience with ETL software, to perform the following duties and
Responsibilities:
- Develop ETL technical specifications and recommend, design, develop, test, implement, and support innovative and optimal data solutions.
- Work with data analysts to gather requirements and understand data management initiatives.
- Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution.
- Develop centric Master Data Management initiatives using Informatica Master Data management product.
- Develop data mappings and utilize the necessary cleanse functions by analyzing the data using the data quality tool.
- Create landing tables, base tables, and staging tables according to the data model and number of source systems.
- Implement real-time integration with MDM HUB using real-time batch processing for business data coming from source systems.
- Create Match rule sets for the base objects by defining the Match Path components, Match columns and rules.
- Implement IDD using hierarchy configuration and create subject area groups, subject areas, subject area children, IDD display packages in hub and search queries.
- Perform SIF Integration with existing system using JAVA API call.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations, and provide input to information/data flow.
This position does not supervise any personnel.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems or any related STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology or Math) field of study providing the required knowledge and abilities, plus one (1) year of experience in any related position providing the required skills and abilities.
Individuals must also have demonstrable proficiency and experience with the following:
1. ETL tools including Informatica
2. SQL Server, including generating reports using SSIS
3. Java API, Core Java, JSP, JavaScript
4. Struts
5. Restful Web services
6. Spring and Hibernate
7. Oracle
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantial compatibility with stated academic requirements, experience and ability to perform job duties.
Additional Information:
No travel or telecommuting. Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of the project.
