***Television Repair Field Technician***

An established Family-Owned Consumer Electronics Repair Company is looking for a Computer/Electronic Repair Technician to service Televisions. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, technically minded person with awesome customer service skills who likes to tinker. This is an entry level Television Repair Field Technician position and will service the Southeast Phoenix area. Service area will be from Mesa to Casa Grande including Queen Creek and Apache Junction.
We will train the right candidate.
If you understand computers and how to download and install programs; if you can work with hand and simple power tools; if you have an aptitude for learning new skills and like working with new computer programs; if you are comfortable with new concepts and change; then you might be a great candidate. We want someone who keeps up with technology and is proficient with computers, smart phones, tablets. Experience with Audio/Visual networks or hookups and network connectivity are a big Plus.
Are you smart and an Ace at texting, but don't have experience? No problem-we will train as needed. You have to be able to communicate in English in spoken and written form, though (in person, on the phone and through email--not just texting shorthand or 1337.)
However, you must be a high school grad or have a GED and valid driver's license with several years' driving experience after receiving your license (like 6+, not 3.) We don't trust our vehicles to just anyone. Texting is great, but don't do it while driving. Serious-you must have a clean record--driving, background and drug screenings are mandatory.
Can you swap out computer boards and set up and upgrade your computer? Great! If you are bright and a quick learner, technologically savvy, can work with your hands, like to take things apart but can put them back together, then send us your resume. Don't ask for more information-just SEND US A RESUME. If we like you on paper, uh hum, email, we'll call you.
This is a field technician position so actual hands-on prior experience-repairing computers or TVs is a big plus.
The position is Monday through Friday and is Part-Time but there will be some flexibility in choosing which days will be assigned a route if you don't want to work 5 days a week. There is the possibility that the position will become full-time, but there is no guarantee, and at this time, it is Part-Time only. Benefits are available ONLY IF POSITION BECOMES FULL-TIME after completion of required waiting period following change to full-time employment and include Medical, Dental, 7 Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO).
Rate:
Starting pay is piece rate with an $18 per hour guaranteed minimum hourly rate for the first 3 months. After the first 3 month period the guaranteed minimum hourly rate of $18 will be reduced to $12 per hour. For those who have applied themselves, their regular rate of pay from piece rate compensation can exceed the $18 minimum hourly rate that they had been guaranteed during the first 3 month period. Those who learn to work well within the program guidelines and apply themselves can make $18 to $22 per hour on the piece rate program. As mentioned above, for most techs who can work the system and adapt, the tech should not be riding at the minimum rate. Successful techs should make over $18 per hour consistently on the piece rate program. The more efficient the tech is the more money they can make.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
