Job Description:
o This position includes but is not limited to developing software using C+
& Objective C on Mac OSX as the primary programming language, Debugging and testing software, documenting software with comments, UML diagrams and flow charts, porting software written for one OS to another OS and developing validation test cases for software written.
Minimum
Qualifications:
o BS degree in relevant field, such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering, plus three or more years relevant work experience in a software engineering role (software development, software QA, software validation, or software program management) required.
o 5
years of programming or validation experience with Windows environments.
o 5
years of Experience with XCode & Visual Studio.
o 5
years of Experience with at least one software version management system, such as git, SVN, CVS.
o Proficiency in C+
and Objective C required.
o Understanding of Object Oriented Design principles required.
o Ability to work in a SCRUM environment required.
Preferred
Qualifications:
o OSX and Linux Experience - Windows development.
o Experience in programming for browser-based applications (Javascript, HTML5, etc.).
o Experience with RESTful interfaces, websockets, webRTC and other web protocols.
o Hands on experience validating software, using debugging tools, and resolving bugs.
o Experience with test automation, especially across different platform/OS combinations.
o Experience developing or validating software for consumer products.
o Self-motivated fast learner with strong analytical and communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
