Provide senior level technical support for mainframe security using CA Top Secret in a large complex multi LPAR environment. Lead work efforts involving internal and end-user personnel to define access and control needs, security interfaces, customized security configurations, reporting, notification, and data gathering solutions as required.
Develops specifications for extremely complex computer security/protection technologies for company information and systems/applications. Develops security solutions for the company's application systems, key public infrastructures, authentication and directory services to ensure the security of the systems and confidential data. Identifies emergent vulnerabilities, evaluates associated risks and threats, and designs remediation alternatives. Leads security risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and adherence to best practices. Leads the evaluation of vendor proposals, new and existing security designs, and emerging security technologies and systems. Serves as a high level technical security resource on large-scale systems/applications issues. May direct or serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.
Basic
Qualifications: 7
years of experience in security applications and systems.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years experience at an engineering level with CA Top Secret for z/OS.
Must be skilled in the configuration and design of CA Top Secret at a technical level.
Ability to design custom security solutions, configurations, and security interfaces for applications implemented in a CA Top Secret environment.
Must be skilled in z/OS security concepts, CICS, TSO, JCL, and application programming concepts.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with RACF, CA Compliance Manager, Top Secret for DB2,CA Datacom, and ability to perform ad-hoc programming assignments for analysis and reporting is a plus.
