Cinder Solutions is excited to announce a new opening for a Software Engineer for one of our direct clients in Chandler, AZ. This is a full time, 40 an hour a week position that offers a full competitive benefits package which includes PTO and Healthcare coverage.
Job Description:
The Analytics and Products Technologies team needs a creative Systems Engineer with a background in Energy analytics and a knowledge of some or all of the below concepts:
- Demand Response, Frequency Response, Automated load management, Grid Optimization, Conversion Voltage Reduction, Peak Shaving, Load Balancing and Building Diagnostics to drive value for the current IOT product.
Responsibilities:
- Duties may also include tracking software implementation progress against requirements
- Working closely with the software team to help translate analytics requirements effectively into the software domain.
Education Level:
You should possess a Bachelor degree Master Degree or a PHD in Building Technology, Building Science, Sustainable Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of tools like MATLABSimulink, R, Octave and some idea of JAVA programming language to guide implementation.
- Knowledge of computer architecture
- Familiarity with benchmarks and computer performance evaluation methods
- Software development skills
- Fluent in C and/or C+
and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Knowledge of scripting language such as Perl or Python is a plus
