Cinder Solutions is looking for a solid Laboratory Assistant to fill a role for one of our growing clients in Chandler, AZ. This is a full time, 40 an hour a week position. We offer all full time employees a full competitive benefits package that includes PTO and Healthcare coverage.
Job Description:
The lab Engineering Technician (Laboratory Assistant) will work with module engineers and the lab manager.
The Engineering Technician works with the SPTD Wet Processing team of engineers and drive for transferring the lab process into HVM (high volume manufacturing). The Engineering Technician is responsible to own and drive safety in the lab, quality and accuracy of data, lab equipment availability and timely delivery of analytical results.
Responsibilities:
- Sample collection
- Safe handling and mixing of chemicals
- Lab analysis and measurements
- Data collection
- Analysis and summarization
- Presentation of lab reports
- Maintenance of lab analytical tools (scheduled and unscheduled PMs)
- Responsible for accuracy of analytical data and precision of analytical tools.
- Works with the lab manager to drive installation and qualification of lab equipment and then work with the SPTD Wet Processing team of engineers to support the SPTD development and HVM effort.
Education Level:
An Associate of Science or a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, prior work experience with Analytical chemistry techniques.
Required Skills:
- Must be able to deal with chemistries, Gowning and dawning acid gear.
- You will be on your feet most of the time and the position involves a great deal of walking throughout the day.
