Arizona Bank & Trust has an opportunity for a full time Personal Banker to join our team in Chandler Village.
The Personal Banker is a cross functional position that will be responsible for processing customer transactions, offering financial products and services while delivering an extraordinary level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Provide first line back up for all Personal Banking positions including:
Operating a transaction window
Processing customer checking, savings and loan transactions
Open, close and service customer accounts
Provide excellent customer service while listening for sales opportunities, explain and promote bank products or services to customers
Follow up with prospects and current customers by telephone or letter to promote new products and services and/or thanking customers for existing business.
Actively monitor the status of key customer relationships to promote business growth and service quality, Increase the number of services used per customer to increase both profits and customer retention.
Answer questions and solve problems for customers and office staff concerning all services provided by the bank
Maintains a detailed level of knowledge of retail products and services
Opens, closes, and allows, customer's access to their safety deposit box following specified procedures if necessary.
Works collaboratively with the personal banking team to achieve customer service and sales objectives
Actively participates in banking center sales activities
May act as backup to the branch operations supervisor in their absence as designated
Maintain an acceptable Cash Over and Short account according to the bank policy guidelines.
Prepare Currency Transaction Reports and Monetary Instrument logs.
Open and close the banking center according to bank security policy.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience in sales & customer service
Previous teller or cash handling experience preferred, but not required
Experience providing high quality customer service
Ability to count and balance cash
Knowledge of MS Office, Windows and ten key calculator
