Professional CPA firm in the southeast valley is looking for a key associate to work directly with their clients specializing in Construction.
Perform bookkeeping services for clients.
Train clients' employees to perform bookkeeping procedures and how to use accounting software.
Prepare sales tax returns for clients.
Prepare payroll and payroll tax documents.
Prepare personal property tax depreciation schedules.
Prepare financial statement and tax workpapers, including trial balances, depreciation schedules, and debt amortization schedules
Calculate fringe benefits for personal use of vehicle and for health insurance premiums to be included in the W-2.
Know and follow the firm's policies and procedures.
Use firm research sources to answer questions.
Prepare simple tax returns
Proficient knowledge of firm technology, including the use of UltraTax, Creative Solutions Software, ACT, Windows & Microsoft Office, etc.
Develop quality client relationships and loyalty.
Identify additional services we could offer to clients
Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the firm's managers and partners.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
