Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Backend Web Developer to develop a robust software distribution platform for our clients' Open Source Technology organization. This platform will distribute some of the most well-known open source software packages in the world including Linux, Android & OpenStack.
Role and
Responsibilities:
- You will be building web interfaces that will be user experience driven and a pleasure to use
- Build groundbreaking web applications using advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Prototype future interfaces
- Work with product, design, and data teams
Required Skills:
Basic
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of PHP, MySQL and object-oriented programming
- A minimum of 3 years of JavaScript and AJAX development
- A minimum of 3 years of high quality, high reliability websites and web applications development
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and LAMP stack development
- Strong experience with variety of software development methodologies, frameworks, and tools
- Proven experience working with server-level Web administration
- Experience with analytical, problem solving, debugging, and optimization estimation skills
Years of experience required:
A minimum of 3 years of experience.
Degree Required:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
