Cinder Solutions is excited to announce a new opening for an Engineer Technician to fill a role for one of our growing clients in Chandler, AZ. This is a full time, 40 an hour a week position. Job Description and
Responsibilities:
SPTD Yield Technician will be involved in supporting all Yield activities such as data analysis, data collection for engineering experiments, materials characterization, performing root cause analysis, electrical FI/FA, etc.
Assignments will be varied in nature and require a high degree of technical understanding of the substrate and assembly disciplines. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems. Candidate will work closely with engineers in a collaborative environment.
Job Duties:
SPTD Yield Technician will be involved in supporting all Yield activities such as data analysis, data collection for engineering experiments, materials characterization, performing root cause analysis, electrical FI/FA, etc . Assignments will be varied in nature and require a high degree of technical understanding of the substrate and assembly disciplines. Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems. Candidate will work closely with engineers in a collaborative environment.
Required Skills:
- X-section, delayering/planar grinding of substrates/packages
- Experience using optical microscope for inspection and measurement
- Ability to use Excel and Powerpoint on a day-to day basis
- Ability to communicate findings verbally and through reports to yield engineers, LYA analysts, and other requestors as needed.
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner with a variety of different individuals in a fast paced, technical environment.
- Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment where changing priorities are the norm.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using SEM/EDX, FIB, 2D X-ray, TDR and other FA tools
- Knowledge of Allegro/Mentor Package Databases
- Knowledge of Excel, JMP and other statistical
