A large part of this role will be spent in the design, development, and documenting security systems that protect the company's electronic information. This may include providing training and developing operating standards to IT staff and providing training to IT Staff and customers. Designs and prepares business cases, policies, instructional manuals, video tutorials, and classroom sessions in support of developed solutions.
Work with IT staff and customers to analyze and solve business problems using security solutions. Works on complex and high impact issues. Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis and suggests the best course of action.
In our collaborate culture you will be asked to contribute to cross functional project teams to address security requirements associated with customer and IT initiatives.
Provide problem resolution of reported security issues reported through IT team members, automated notifications, and IT service desk in compliance with applicable SLA (Service Level Agreement). Provide support to junior staff members who cannot find resolutions to open issues.

Qualifications to be Successful
Bachelor's Degree from a accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
5 years of progressive experience in information security, networking and computing
Experience to include operating systems, general network architecture, firewalls, proxies, intrusion detections systems, security information and event management, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, malware incident handling, virtual private networks, risk analysis and compliance testing
Knowledge of information security standards, rules and regulations related to information security and data confidentiality
Desktop, server, application, database, network security principles for risk identification and analysis
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication (oral, written, presentation), interpersonal and consultative skills.
Good technical writing skills for internal/external department use
Excellent time management and effective multi-tasking, and one who is can work independently
Negotiation skills
Due to ITAR Regulations, we can only accept candidates who are U.S. Citizens or have Permanent Resident status
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Security or related field

years of progressive experience in information security, networking and computing, including experience with Internet technology and security issues
Experience to include business security policy development and security education, Microsoft PKI, virtualization
Vendor management experience
Strong ability to influence without authority
CISSP, GIAC, or other security certifications desired
In-depth process documentation and review knowledge
Project management, presentation skills and leadership experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
