As Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will be expected to design and execute tests plans from a quality assurance (QA) as well as a user acceptance testing (UAT) perspective. Participate in end user support and author user documentation as necessary.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (PDR)
Define and document test processes
Create test plans and organize test suites
Write and execute test cases
Write test reports that asses overall quality of new products and features
Participate in analysis, design, and requirements of software features
Increase usage of automated tests Position Requirements Qualifications
Minimum three (5) years experience in software quality assurance and test
Bachelor's in a Technical or Computer Science related field desired
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Effectively documents test plans and test cases and uses practices such as test planning, logical test cases, physical test cases, test case automation, etc.
Thorough understanding of 3-tiered web-based applications built on a Microsoft .Net/SQL Server platform
Works well in a highly collaborative team environment
Desired Skills
Experience with XML, REST, SOAP, SOA methodologies, and web services
Experience testing for a high volume, highly secure, business critical, 99.9% uptime web application
Experience working in an agile (scrum) environment.
Proficient knowledge in using Microsoft Team Foundation Server for test processes
Experience automating software tests with Visual Studio, MS Test, TFS, Selenium, or SoapUI
Experience with mobile app testing, such as iOS and Android
