Installs, maintains and assists in the design of the enterprise network to meet the functional objectives of the business. Develops, designs, documents, tests and supports PBX telecommunications systems in a multi-switch environment. Designs and programs voice mail, dialing plans, and inter-switch networking. Installs and maintains telecommunication systems and equipment in addition to troubleshooting any type of hardware or software problems to ensure that systems perform in a manner which meets business/clients needs and objectives. Evaluates tests and integrates new networking technologies. Assists in design and implementation of new connectivity. Involved with the network infrastructure, and the planning and design of enterprise local-area/wide-area network (LAN/WAN) solutions. Performs additional job duties as required.
This is a very hands on position, predominately layer one, and will be an overnight shift position
