This is a Electronic Design Automation position in the Corporate CAD group. You will be defining and implementing the flows and tools to abstract analog circuit behavior into models for use in digital logic design tools. Training and support of the tools is part of the job. Experience with static timing analysis and simulation (both digital and analog) tools is required. Familiarity with characterization tools such as NCX, SiliconSmart or Liberate is desired.
Responsibilities:
Develop flows to abstract analog circuit behavior into Liberty models
Write software to implement the model generation flow
Develop standards for static timing and simulation models
Design strategies for circuit simulation to driving model generation
Train users in use of tools and flows
Backup support for STA, synthesis, formal verification and debugging tools
Requirements
MS/BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
5 or more years of experience developing and supporting EDA tools
Programming languages: TCL, Perl, Python
Design Languages: SystemVerilog, Liberty(CCS), Spice, UPF
Experience with characterization tools like NCX
Experience using simulation tools, both digital and analog like ModelSim and Spice
Experience with static timing analysis tools like PrimeTime
Experience with debugging tools like Verdi
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
