The Vice President of Finance will have strong internal drive, leadership and relationship building skills to successfully deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, financial planning, operational/financial modeling, tax, regulatory compliance as well as implementation and support of complex financial systems.
Essential Functions:
Direct the issuance of timely and accurate GAAP based financial statements and managerial financial statements
Oversee all audits (Financial/401K).
Oversee internal control structure of the company and suggested control and/or process improvements for management.
Ensure compliance with local, state, federal tax requirements.
Ensure compliance with PCI requirements in coordination with the IT department.
Direct and coordinate LOB financial reporting, planning and budget management functions.
Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and prior year.
Maintain, recommend operational and financial metrics for success
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Individually formulates very persuasive business positions on the fly while possessing the skill of listening and learning to alternate vantage points for the purpose of potentially altering course to arrive at the best outcomes.
Expert in corporate finance, technical GAAP accounting, divisional budgeting principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Expert knowledge of automated financial and accounting ERP systems.
General Knowledge of federal, state and local tax regulations.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, models, statements and projections.
Education and Experience
Bachelor''s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, CPA and MBA preferred.
At least 20 years'' experience with a mid-size to large Multi-Divisional Company in accounting and finance roles.
