Goal oriented to ensure that production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and quality.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 6am-4:
30pm.
Must be able to work Saturdays at times if production needs require it.
Responsibilities:
Manage set up, change over and cleaning machines Control and adjust machine settings to optimize throughput while maintaining quality, without stops.
Inspect products Monitor operation of machines throughout the production shift.
Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the production run.
Perform tooling change overs for different formats.
Check output to spot any machine-related issues or flaws.
Complete batch paperwork per cGMP's Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Maintain activity logs.
Utilize lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Direct and guide production staff as needed to assist meeting or exceeding daily goals, and timely change overs and cleaning of equipment.
Candidate requirements:
Proven experience as a machine operator Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery Understanding of production procedures Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.
g.
, constant use of protective gear) Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and work instructions.
Analytical skills Attention to detail.
Great teamwork and communication skills Ability to effectively lead others.
Physical stamina and strength High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.

Repetitive motions Sitting Standing Walking Using hands Lifting and carrying Operating machinery Fast-paced, multi-tasking activities Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
