New Grads welcome! Copper Mountain Animal Hospital in Chandler, Arizona is looking for an associate to join our growing small animal practice! Our hospital is equipped with all new equipment and diagnostics, and our amazing team allows us to provide the best care for our patients and dedication to our clients.
We offer a four-day work week with no after-hours/on-call duty to help maintain a healthy work/life balance, and a strong and supportive atmosphere for better stress management at work.

We look forward to hearing from you Responsibilities Examine animals and assess their health status Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment Be able to clearly communicate with owners to present treatment options and medical advice Perform routine dental and soft tissue surgeries Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases Spay and neuter cats and dogs as needed Prescribe medication Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare and general care Conduct home visits occasionally, in case of emergency Update client records Skills Work experience as an associate veterinarian in a small animal setting Experience performing performing complete physical exams as well as various types of surgeries and routine procedures General knowledge of diagnostics and interpretation including routine cytology, radiology, and labwork Problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language Willingness to assist with client and staff education Team based practice of medicine and a deep compassion for animals Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree Job Types:
