Gold Standard Transport is seeking a dedicated NEMT Driver to join our team to provide safe and comfortable transportation for individuals requiring non-emergency medical transportation services.
Scheduled shift is Monday through Friday from approximately 10 am to approximately 6 pm.
Responsibilities Include:
Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities.
Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
Follow established routes and schedules, while also being adaptable to changes and modifications as necessary.
Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting routine inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service, maintaining a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.
Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents that may occur during transportation.
Comply with all relevant transportation regulations, including traffic laws and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
Compassionate and patient attitude, particularly when dealing with individuals with medical needs.
Ability to follow directions, work independently, and demonstrate reliability.
Familiarity with local routes and destinations, as well as GPS navigation systems.
Physical ability to assist clients with mobility challenges, as required.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in non-emergency medical transportation is highly preferred.
Flexibility with start and finish times.
