Manufacturing Engineer

Support the day to day operations from machining through to build.
Ensure machining capacity is available to support the output through to build within the Chandler Service Technology Centre and the other Service Technology Centers in North America and Europe.
Ensure the TPM schedules are adhered to to ensure the performance Key Process Indicators are achieved.
Support problem solving activities which impact the operational Key Process Indicators of the Service Technology Centre.
Act as the technical authority for the cell controlling the machining programs, change management and re-validation using Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
Comfortable in training Manufacturing technicians to the process and working as part of a team, with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Health and Safety, Lean.
Become a Subject Matter Expert in Machining process, providing guidance and support to Global TeamsMachining ImprovementsLead machining improvement projects from concept through the change management cycle.
Support the development of the next generation of machining.
Support the integration of machining from Industry 3.

Liaise which the product technical authority for design changes to improve.
Review and Creation of Machining Process-related documentation such as Tooling Control Plan, Standard Operating Procedures.
Working with machinery vendors on the installation and setup of Machinery Process EquipmentSupply Chain DevelopmentSupport the Supplier Quality Engineer to improve and develop the suppliers quality which will impact and Key Process Variables or Key Process Indicators of the machining process.
Support the Supplier Quality Engineer on supplier scorecard reviews and the development of supplier improvement plans.
Act as the PPAP CARe for the machining supply chainSupport purchasing to drive cost improvements within the machining supply chain including tooling.
Engineering ControlsUsing engineering first principles create the Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA), control plans and maintenance plans to ensure the Key Process Variables are controlled to ensure component quality and output requirements.
Ability to read 2D drawing and understand technical specification requirements.
Ability to understand 3D CAD models and machining programming software.

years of manufacturing and operations experience.
3
years experience with CNC and automated manufacturing operations.
Ability to understand technical 2D/3D drawings.
Strong understanding of manufacturing principles such as PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)Strong drive for innovation and growth in the workspace with a demonstrated ability to do so.
Strong attention to detail with an analytical background.
Ability to work with offline CNC programming Ability to work through CNC validation programs Recommended Skills 3d Model Analytical Attention To Detail Automation Change Management Drawing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
