oResponsible for creating drawing/design packages with proper content and to ensuring compliance with applicable industry and military standardsoReview designs for fit, function, manufacturability, economy of fabrication, and verifying completed work, checking dimensions, materials and quantities to be usedoReview of tolerance analysis, hardware selection and fitment on assembly printsoCalled upon to resolve interpretation issues on drawingsoVerifying 3D models submitted to manufacturing utilizing Siemens NX 1946 managed with TeamcenteroResponsibility will further include liaison with various engineering disciplines, Manufacturing, and QualityoSome vendor liaison will be required as welloAs requested, may supervise and direct the activities of staff.
oModeling fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Siemens NX 1946 managed with Teamcenter, and create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME modeling and drawing standardsoKnowledge of Word, Excel, Windows and NX 1946 as required.
oGood communication skills, both written and verbal.
oAbility to work quickly and accu ly while under schedule pressure and exhibit a large degree of patience.
oStrong time management and organizational skills.
Required Skill Set :
oAbility to obtain DoD Secret security clearanceoMust be experienced with geometric dimensioning and tolerancingoMust have knowledge of standard manufacturing processes including CNC Mill and Lathe operationsoAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentDesired Skills Set :
oMust be experienced with Siemens NX 1946 and TeamcenteroActive DOD Secret Security clearance, or higheroASME Y14.
5-2009 certificationoRelated industry experience within launch vehicle industryoExperience working with DoD programsEducation Qualification :
