Isola, an industry leader in global materials sciences whose mission is to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products, is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer at our Chandler, AZ location.
Compensation:
$60,000-$80,000THE ROLEThe Plant Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for overseeing and improving our core manufacturing processes.
This includes identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, and ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards.
The Manufacturing Engineer is also responsible for developing specifications that are necessary to produce quality products with high yield, in-control processes within production parameters.
This position is also responsible for machine troubleshooting and developing new ideas for automated machine improvement by using the latest technology, tools, and methods.
The Manufacturing Engineer works closely with our Global Manufacturing Engineering group as well as the Global Advanced Engineering group to support best practice sharing and global quality standards.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES Providing necessary manufacturing and industrial engineering process expertise to improve manufacturing process development tasks.
Leading and supporting Lean activities and 8D's / A3's.
Supporting equipment design upgrades to improve equipment utilization and optimization.
Supporting standard work, ISO documentation, and procedural creation.
Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
Researching and developing new processes, equipment, products, and cost-saving measures.
Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
Maintain research and activity documentation and prepare reports.
QUALIFICATIONS BS or higher degree in an engineering discipline 3 yrs.
experience in a process engineering-related position.
Toolmaker background / Machine Maintenance / Machine Design background preferred.
Knowledge in packaging, lean principles, MFO optimization, and production line optimization.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles General knowledge of assembly lines and manufacturing installation Collaborate with colleagues in a cross-culture environment.
Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software.
Experience in automation design and development for optimization of manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
Able to work extended hours in the event projects go beyond normal work hours.
Recommended Skills Assembly And Installation Automation Cad Communication Data Analysis Engineering Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
