SR. Systems Engineer
What Youll Do:
o Collaborate with the Customer to understand program needs and interpret the needs into the program scope, plan, and execution o Conduct technical feasibility analysis and trade studies to provide knowledge-based recommendations to management o Analyze system and segment level requirements and allocate to appropriate level of test o Lead creation of test strategy, test plan, and requirement matrices decompose and create requirements o Tracking issues and troubleshooting o Support project management and program documentation, such as developing documents to clearly convey issues and multi-faceted analysis-VTM and VCRM (documentation for test process) o Support issue tracking and non-conformance resolution o Prepare briefing summary of project results, issues tracking, draw appropriate conclusions using the data, recognize patterns in data, and recommend solutions with guidanceAerospace ExperienceWhat Youll Need to Succeed:
o 6-8 years of system engineering experience o Jira or Atlassian Tool Suite o Knowledge of test process, requirements and analysis o Proficiency with standard office/engineering tools required (e.
g.
, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- There is lots of work with spread sheets in this role o The ability to prioritize your own tasks and potentially the tasks of others while making sure deadlines are met o Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems, make decisions, and to prioritize and organize complex workflow involving multiple inter-related parallel efforts.
o In-depth knowledge of systems engineering methodologies and processes to include requirements definition, requirement allocation, system analyses, system trades, system verification, and anomaly resolution.
o Demonstrated ability to establish customer and supplier relationships and to understand and resolve technical issues.
o Position requires a hands-on self-starter, capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
o Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to cross-departmental groups or those unfamiliar with the topic Recommended Skills Aerospace Industries Communication Feasibility Studies Issue Tracking Systems Jira Microsoft Excel Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
