Responsibilities:
As a Special Education Teacher in our district, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with individualized education plans (IEPs).
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
Providing differentiated instruction to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
Conducting ongoing assessments to monitor students' progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Arizona state teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred, but new graduates with a passion for special education are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and fellow educators.
