Spindle is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team in Pinal County, AZ.
As a Special Education Teacher in a high school inclusion classroom setting, you will play a vital role in providing quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Modify and adapt the curriculum to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure a successful inclusive learning environment.
Provide direct instruction and support to students with various disabilities.
Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to enhance students' academic and social development.
Monitor and track students' progress regularly and communicate with parents and caregivers about their achievements and challenges.
Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to address students' individual needs and progress.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher in Arizona.
Previous experience in a high school inclusion setting is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
