Responsibilities:
As a Special Education Teacher in our district, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with individualized education plans (IEPs).
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing effective and differentiated instructional plans to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Conducting ongoing assessments to monitor students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Providing personalized support and accommodations to help students succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Arizona state teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred, but new graduates with a passion for special education are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and fellow educators.
