Summary:
This position assists the Materials Manager who is responsible for the efficient, accurate, and secure organization of raw materials, parts, finished goods, and returned goods.
The position will help ensure the up-to-date quantity, location, and labeling of these items.
Essential Functions:
Carry out inventory cycle counts as well as a periodic daily count supporting the Purchasing Department Perform general warehouse functions and do housekeeping as required.
Sort and separate materials by part number, movement of product to proper warehouse locations, and enter movement into the inventory management system.
Review and update of item location labeling.
Maintain inventory stock locations and relocate as necessary to accommodate changes to goods stocked.
Carry out maintenance and changes to inventory stocking locations.
(Racks, shelves, palletization, etc.
) Responsible, in cooperation with Shipping Dept, for received WARRANTY items and their locations.
Occasional cross-department support:
Shipping, Receiving, etc.
Microsoft Word, Excel, and GP15-Microsoft Dynamics Forklift Experience Preferred Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent level of experience.
Six months experience in warehousing function.
