Full Time Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday Summer Hours:
6am - 3pm Winter, Fall & Spring 8am-5pm Requirements:
Lift 50lbs, ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, driver's license, drug-free, drive a golf cart responsibly, utilize basic hand tools, ability to walk two miles a day.
This position is responsible for essentially owning the outdoor spaces in Downtown Chandler.
Keeping the downtown clean, tidy, and well-kept.
Duties include but not limited to:
Picking up litter and debris from grounds, scraping of all stickers, removing any and all flyers posted to signs, sweeping sidewalks, curb lines, and alleyways.
Removal of graffiti, spraying weeds from rocks and alleyways.
Other duties as requested in regards to office operations and events.
The downtown should be inviting, feel safe, and provide an all-around authentic experience.
This position is key to ensuring the look and feel of downtown is intentional and one of pride.
Specific Job Tasks:
Daily Trash Cans/Empty/Wipe Spot Sweep sidewalks alleys and curb lines Pick up trash from ground Water office flowers Scrape stickers (back of signs, benches, walls, electrical boxes) Wipe graffiti as it appears Public Restrooms in park Weekly Open Farmers Market on Saturdays Spray Weeds in rocks and alleyways Power Wash (colonnade, sidewalks, in front of parking garages, in front of new square, AJ Chandler Park, alleyways) Wipe monuments, benches, d cor Empty office trash cans Monthly Wipe Kiosks Sweep Curb lines Check around dumpsters to ensure tidy and no large spills Replacement of flowers as asked Clean office Reporting & Special Projects Homeless People Broken items Graffiti unable to remove Repairing small office items Touch up paint on various d cor pieces Job Type:
