Chandler's only lakeside hotel is currently recruiting our next Operations Manager to continue to lead our very busy property to further successes.
This position will work in conjunction with the AGM to oversee both the Front Office & F&B teams to include breakfast attendants & bartender(s) while assisting the department leaders in housekeeping and engineering.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Manages financial components of responsible departments Assists GM and AGM in day-to-day operations of the hotel Maximizes financial performance and upholds quality standards of F&B and Rooms departments Maximizes room revenue by anticipating market shifts and participating in property sales and marketing efforts.
Builds relationships with guests and monitors satisfaction levels.
Review P&L with GM and develop suggestions on aligning and driving all aspects of hotel performance towards the attainment of budgeted Revenue, RevPAR Index, Flow Through, GOP and Guest Satisfaction & Marriott BSA scores.
Understand and apply accounting principles (e.
g.
, accruals, prepaids, balancing daily reports, GL coding, etc.
) and ensure these are understood and applied correctly.
Processes accounts payables invoices on-time and maintains accounts receivable accounts to ensure prompt payment is made to hotel Assist with selection, training, counseling and motivating hourly associates.
Places weekly breakfast & liquor orders Participate in the development of the hotel expense budget.
Assist hotel management and sales teams with the implementation and execution of revenue programs to ensure that the hotel's room occupancy, average daily rate, and RevPAR objectives are met.
Balance, prepare and upload month-end reports on-time Ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
Ensure effective departmental communication and information systems through logs, department meetings and hotel meetings.

Qualifications:
At least 2 years progressive experience in the Rooms department (with oversight of complimentary breakfast and/or bar preferred) Minimum one year experience oversight of complimentary breakfast required and oversight of hotel bar highly preferred Previous hotel leadership experience required.
Minimum two years experience working with Marriott's FOSSE PMS highly preferred Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations and maintain composure and objectivity in these situations.
Must have the ability to review complex information or data and use that information to meet the demands of the particular need.
Must be effective at listening to understanding clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests.
Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data and basic arithmetic functions.
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must have open availability as weekends will be required.
