Position Title:
Industrial Maintenance Manager (working supervisor) Reports To:
Director of Operations _______________________________________________________________________________ Position
Summary:
This position is hands and with the primary purpose of the position is to direct, supervise, and manage the safe activities of the plant's maintenance and support groups to maximize uptime and productivity in operations.
The maintenance supervisor is responsible for supervising/directing all aspects of the maintenance department.
This includes managing the upkeep of all manufacturing assets, managing maintenance budget and resources as well as assisting in the design and installation of new systems.
In addition, this position is responsible for supervising/directing multiple shifts of Maintenance technicians and mechanics.
This is a working supervisor position and does require mastery of mechanical and electrical fields, you will utilize working with your hands on a daily basis diagnosing, evaluating, and repairing industrial machines.
Responsibilities:
Oversee, manage, direct and participate in all maintenance procedures and operations, including hands on support on a regular basis, (I.

pulling wire, mechanical, and PLC).
Ensure all machinery is up to working standards.
Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency.
Manage potential issues proactively with a preventative mind set.
Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems.
Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs, I.

, TPM, vibration analysis, WO completion tracking.
) Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts.
Oversee and often times complete repairs personally depending on available resources and priorities.
Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures with a hands-on approach to ensure teams capabilities are understood and developed.
Create a work environment with safety as the highest priority.
Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work.
Record and track daily progress/error reports.
Create and adhere to maintenance budgets in conjunction with the D.
O.
Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state and federal laws as well as company protocol.
Maintain vendor relationships and order new materials as needed.
Skills/
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required, as well as relevant technical certifications.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or related field preferred.

years relevant experience in maintenance Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems, including hands on experience.
Previous managerial/leadership experience highly preferred.
Experience managing multiple vendors and customers.
Ability to consistently maintain positive client relationships (internal/external).
Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities, and has no issue doing the work when priority or need dictates.
Makes safety a priority at all times, no matter the situation.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite) and a solid understanding of data analysis software.
