The Deposit Operations Lead's main responsibility is to manage the Deposit Operations functions and team, in support of all bank locations, in accordance with the organization's Mission, Statement, and Core Values.
This Deposit Operations Lead will serve as primary payments expert and requirements will include obtaining applicable certifications such as NCP, AAP, and APRP.
Position includes developing management reports from bank information systems and assisting with operations-related projects focused on existing as well as the implementation of new processes, products and services.
Duties and responsibilities Direct and support all Deposit Operations Personnel.
Serve as payments expert for Deposit Operations team and other bank departments, including, but not limited to, ACH, check, debit card transactions, and wire transfer Develop and maintain a good working relationship with vendors which includes resolving issues and correcting mistakes, if necessary.
Address and resolve customer complaints and process issues.
Communicate corporate philosophy and procedure.
Resolve internal user issues relating to Fiserv deposit & electronic banking systems.
Maintain product/service knowledge of all types of deposits and related services.
Work in coordination with other departments to achieve internal customer satisfaction.
Implement new bank policies and processes within area of responsibility.
Ensure regulatory compliance within area of responsibility.
Ensure deposit system data are in compliance with internal guidelines and policies.
Accurately develop internal management reports in a timely manner.
Backup other deposit operations tasks as needed.
Other duties as needed Associate of arts degree in financial or business related field and a minimum of five years of experience in the banking or technology industry.
NCP, AAP, and APRP certification(s) are desired.
