Kaleidoscope ABA, a family-owned company, has recently experienced tremendous growth, leading us to open new ABA Centers throughout the Northeast! We are looking for both full-time and part-time BCBAs to join our expanding team and be an integral part of our Center and Home-based services.
Come grow with us as we open more Centers in 2023! Starting in 2019, Kaleidoscope ABA Services began providing ABA Therapy Services in-home and in-community.
The evidence-based history of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy has proven it to be a best practice model used to support and provide effective treatment to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as other behavioral and developmental disabilities.
Treatment is provided individually and in small settings to create the most impact and learning opportunities for children.
Now, our model is primarily Center-based therapy.
Job Description:
Administer assessments including VB MAPP, Essentials for Living, Functional Assessments, and Functional Analysis.
Complete all data sheets, programming sheets, progress notes, and billing sheets daily.
Maintain legible up-to-date records.
This includes, but is not limited to the following:
sign-in sheet, daily log, program data, and behavior data.
Train behavior technicians to appropriately and successfully apply the principles of behavior through the application of positive behavior intervention techniques.
Implement appropriate teaching strategies and behavior modification approaches.
Review technician's documentation and data collection and provide all feedback as needed to ensure Treatment Plan is carried out with integrity.
Confer with members of the child's family, ABA therapy staff, and other health team members, individually and in the conference, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs.
Facilitate Natural Environment Training when appropriate.
Educate parents on reinforcement and early intervention information.
Observe confidentiality and safeguard all patient-related information.
It is an essential function to be able to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting.
Candidates must possess the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 50 lbs on occasion.
Note:
This role requires the ability to spend a significant amount of time crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.
Location and Hours:
Center and home-based opportunities throughout New Jersey, Massachusetts, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.
Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities are available.
Required Experience and Education:
Minimum of a Master's Degree.
Current BCBA Certification.
Experience in applied settings developing and implementing behavioral interventions.
PA Only - LBS Designation; MA Only - LABA Designation.
Must be able to meet the rigorous physical demands of the job which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting.
All new hires will need to submit proof of vaccination upon hire or must submit negative weekly COVID tests.
