Job Description Join an inspiring technical support team to use innovative technologies and develop systems to enhance software developers' productivity. As a member of the Corporate DevOps team you will be responsible for applying expertise in the development, deployment and ongoing support of Microchip's software development environment. Your role will be to assist other team members and end users with support issues, monitor key services and address any failures. Responsible for providing technical support for a development environment to enable Software Development teams to deliver high quality integrated solutions on schedule Define and implement infrastructures based on diverse business needs driven by established and emerging markets and customer requirements. Collaborate with Software Development teams in developing new methodologies. Monitor JIRA tickets related to relevant support components Take ownership of issue resolution when impacted user is in a nearby time zone Job Requirements Job requires access to technology, material, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Minimum qualifications include:

years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree is required DevOps experience, good understanding of Software Design Lifecycle Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, and Bash Experience working on a software development team using issue tracking tools such as JIRA or Polarion and source control management such as Git Experience with end user support, like help/service desk duty:
good customer satisfaction practices Experience with application access control, permissions and group management Capable of working autonomously (given high level directions) Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred qualifications include:
Experience in effectively using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins to maintain, develop and deploy software into a working production pipeline. Experience with Hashicorp's Vault, Consul and TerraForm products Knowledge of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) Exposure to Software Security concepts and DevSecOps Unix/Linux user experience, some IT Administration knowledge a plus.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
