Job Description Trade and Regulatory Counsel will apply knowledge of trade laws and other regulations to business operations and strategies, striving to reduce barriers to trade, and align policies and practices with corporate goals. Counsel will partner with and advise the Global Trade Compliance Team. Counsel will interface with, and be responsible for preparing materials for the Company, government agencies, regulators, customers, and other stakeholders - while striving to improve standardization and efficient processes. Counsel will support day-to-day business contracts with trade, human rights, and other regulatory obligations. Counsel will draft, implement, and/or update policies, procedures, guidelines, and training materials, and supportM&A activities, post-M&A integration, and other corporate initiatives as needed. Counsel will report to the Associate Director - Regulatory Counsel. Job Requirements J.D. from ABA accredited law school and licensed to practice law in a U.S. state Undergraduate B.A. Business or similar degree highly desirable Excellent academic credentials Minimum of 6 years' experience practicing law Minimum of 3 years trade compliance experience advising on a range of topics including import/export, EAR and ITAR controlled items, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Foreign Direct Product Rules, restricted party screening, hiring foreign nationals, etc. Expertise handling variety of ethics, regulatory, and compliance matters, as well as interfacing with government agencies, regulators, board of directors, customers, and cross-functional teams Prior experience representing publicly traded technology and aerospace companies a plus Possess a high level of integrity, initiative, and professionalism Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to explain complex matters in a clear and concise manner Successful candidate exhibits strong business acumen, is a proven team player and consensus builder, and takes a business approach to law and problem-solving Must be a flexible self-starter and proactive problem solver who can work independently while handling significant, direct client contact Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong organizational skills and follow-through required Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, and internet) are required Some domestic and international travel may be needed from time to time
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Legal & RegulatoryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
