Job Description Purpose The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with customers, specifically regarding Failure Analysis (FA), quality-related requests and support of Microchip field quality/sales/applications teams. Function 1. Failure Analysis requests & Corrective Action tracking, status updates communicated to customers. 2. Ability to organize, write and present technical reports (8Ds, presentations) to technical and nontechnical audiences. 3. Support quality and customer requirements and requests. This may include, but not be limited to, environmental, reliability, quality, or product issues. 4. Excel or statistical based manipulation of data for risk assessment analysis. 5. Interact with sensitivity and awareness to globally and culturally diverse personnel. 6. Support customer visit/audits for business/quality review meetings as required. Job Requirements Qualifications 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 8.5 to 12 years industry/position experience Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and/or semiconductor processing Excellent verbal and written communication skills Customer interaction experience Statistical knowledge (Capability analysis, distributions, data manipulation) Familiarity with Automotive and Aerospace industries and standards (AS9100, IATF-16949, 8D, PPAP) Special Requirements Problem solving, analytical thinking and influencing skills Computer Literate - Word/Excel/PowerPoint Self-motivated and goal-oriented team player English speaking, writing, and reading proficiency
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
