PCB Design Engineer

Organization & Role The PCB Product Support Group works across the Nextest Business Unit to provide PCB hardware needs. Responsibilities We are responsible for working closely with the following groups:
Marketing and Applications group to create Demo and application training boards for customers San Jose Hardware Engineering group for tester specific PCB Hardware layout Work with 3rd party suppliers and customers to provide Interface board hardware templates and training documents. Basic Qualifications & Skills Experience in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCad, and Cadence Allegro Cad tools. Uses Cadence Allegro Cad tools extensively (Allegro 17.3 and Orcad Capture). Create Schematics based on customer defined specifications. Sets up constraint manager design rules and DFM rules. Perform routing analysis and project feasibility studies. Define assembly specifications. Create assembly test packages. Does complete PCB design from Data entry to Output of fabrication files. Define & setup CAD package for off-shore design center when needed. Create Engineering Analysis for project quotations. Attends product development and critical kick off meetings for initial product launch. Use Teamcenter to generate part numbers, BOM's, and ECN's. Perform QA inspection on final designs for completeness and quality. Travels when needed to San Jose factory to perform final product verification. Education Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Minimum 8 years' experience in PCB layout and automated test.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
