Our wireless SoC organization is responsible for all aspects of WiFi & Bluetooth silicon development with a particular emphasis on highly energy efficient design and new technologies. All projects are driven by a world-class integrated engineering team spanning RF/Analog architecture and design, Systems/PHY/MAC architecture and design, VLSI/RTL design and integration, Emulation, Design Verification, Test and Validation and FW/SW engineering. Microchip's Wireless Solutions Group (WSG) business unit is looking for an SoC Design Verification Manager to build and lead a team in Chandler, AZ. Key
Responsibilities:
Build and manage an SoC DV team to deliver bug free complex SoC while working closely with our Architecture, Design and other cross functional teams Develop project schedules and manage task assignments based on various deliverables from cross functional groups Define and lead development of SV/UVM and processor-based SoC level verification environment to achieve functional verification goals Understand the system level use cases and develop comprehensive SoC level verification plan based on product specification Track and report overall progress of the team driving simulation debug at RTL, power aware(UPF) and gate level simulations (GLS) Review all technical deliverables from team members and guide team members to meet quality and the schedule Own and execute verification of critical blocks in the SoC Define and develop verification process improvements and methodologies as part of continuous improvement Support debug/analysis of Post Silicon issues with validation, applications, design, product and test teams Job Requirements Bachelors or Masters in ECE/EE/CS or related specializations with 12
years of industry experience in IP/SoC verification Experience leading or managing SoC verification team Good understanding of Microcontroller architecture and products Expertise in Verilog, System Verilog, UVM, C/C+
and scripting (PERL/TCL/Python) Well experienced with front end EDA tools such as Questa/VCS/Incisive simulators and debug tools (Visualizer/Verdi) Expertise in digital design fundamentals and ability to debug complex designs at RTL and Gate level Familiarity with advanced low power techniques and tools such as UPF/CPF and power aware verification Experience in project management and new product development cycle Good with handling team and people aspects and aspirations Able to set team goals and work consistently towards achieving them Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present and explain complex ideas
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
