Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing rental accounts and meeting company account management goals and expectations, by collecting on past due accounts while adhering to company standards, policies, procedures, and the code of conduct. The Account Manager must always serve customers professionally by performing various customer service functions and other tasks and responsibilities that support the efficient operation of the store. The Account Manager will also be responsible for maintaining store appearance within company guidelines to convey a professional image while providing protection of company assets.
Responsibilities:
Perform general store, vehicle and product maintenance, product delivery, return and service, various marketing, sales and customer service functions. (25%)
Provide customer service, inside and outside of store, to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods by greeting and assisting customers, responding to customer inquiries and complaints and performing rental activities. (25%)
Initiate collections process by locating and notifying customers of delinquent accounts by telephone, personal visits, electronic means, or by mail in order to request payment. (20%)
Follow-up with customers by telephone, or in person, to determine reasons for overdue payments, make payment arrangements or advise them to return merchandise. (20%)
Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts. (5%)
Confer and review assigned accounts with General Manager and/or Sales Representative. (3%)
Perform other duties as assigned. (2%)
Interface:
Internal Provides relative store account management and operation information to General Manager, Sales Representative, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
External This position will interface with customers and external 3rd party providers for the purposes of asset management initiatives as defined by the Operations Department. (I.e. vendors, 3rd party service providers or competitors.)

Qualifications
Employment Standards:
Education HS Diploma or GED required. Two (2) or Four (4) -year degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience One (1) year of work experience in retail sales, collections, or customer service.
Training Completion of New Hire Orientation.

Special Requirements Ability to work flexible hours including weekends. A pre-employment physical examination may be required to determine ability to meet physical demands of the job.
