This position is to support the Director, Process Improvement with demonstrable positive return on investment to internal process owners and executive leadership in terms of improved market growth (e.g. sleep product category), reduced operating costs, and improved process effectiveness and efficiencies across all enterprise functions. The Sr. Data Scientist identifies business trends and problems through complex big data analysis. Interprets results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independently. Designs, develops and implements the most valuable business solutions for the organization. Prepares big data, implements data models and develops database to support the business solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports all phases of the Experimental Design Research, EDR, Process. Analytical support includes:
metric development, baseline historical analysis development, measurement system analysis, and in developing EDR Analytics expertise.
Manages metrics tracking for all EDR projects
Conducts qualitative research and manages outside vendors as necessary
Executes analytics and market research projects to obtain customer-patient insights
Designs and generates management reports from all enterprise-wide databases (DOMO, Magento, etc.)
Delivers value-added statistical analyses of data across multiple systems and to working with other groups to solve issues or operational reporting challenges (finance, billing, marketing, etc.)
Communicates directly with key personnel to design and generate related management-level reports.
Evaluates and analyzes KPI's across Revenue Management to identify challenges and inefficiencies
Supports process improvement of identified KCR Roles (supporting COPC as needed)
Socializes the use of Minitab across the enterprise to enhance organizational capacity
Performs other duties as required.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree a minimum
10 years of professional experience in a healthcare related field
Must have EDR (DOE) design and execution experience
Two years of Minitab experience
Two years of market research experience and patient engagement experience
Five or more years of professional work history in SQL, SAS, database management and reporting
10 or more years of data analytics and reporting

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Ability to support EDR Design in terms of experimental unit selection, sampling, response variable determination, and baseline historical analysis of total system and experimental units
Ability to analyze EDR response data and interpret results
Understand database architecture, generate SQL queries to pull required data that supports analytics
Ability to analyze complex data, provide meaningful interpretation, and report effectively and efficiently
Ability to produce analysis and recommendations that can be easily understood.
Able to communicate effectively with management.
Demonstrate project management and organizational skills. Must be able to effectively lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver desired results in the time frame required.
Experience in professional consulting, business intelligence, reporting, metrics development, business process analysis, planning, and new services development
Experience in dimensional data modeling based on transactional systems in production preferably in a contact or call center environment
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on collaboration across different organizations and a proven history of effecting positive change in work environments.
Strong understanding of technologies including; enterprise wide systems, web technologies, content management, document management, identity and access management, data warehousing, reporting, dashboards, scorecards.
Demonstrated professionalism, both in appearance and conduct.
Ability to produce analysis and recommendations that can be easily understood.
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be detailed oriented and organized.

Computer Skills
Proficient in Minitab
Advanced Excel (pivot and data connection strings are key).
MS SQL - intermediate to advance query writing ability.
Intermediate to Advanced SQL Server Management Server (or ability to learn quickly)
Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Service and SQL Server Reporting Services (or ability to learn quickly)
Familiarity with relational and dimensional DB design
Experienced with advanced Excel features, PowerPivot dimensional modeling, PowerQuery and PowerView.
Experience with SharePoint libraries and lists.
Intermediate experience with relational and dimensional databases
Experience working with ODBC connections and developing reports for a Contact Center environment.

Language Skills
English (reading, writing, verbal)

Mathematical Skills
High level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data.

Other Skills
Ability to travel as necessary.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


Education and/or Experience
Two to seven years related work experience preferred.
Experience in a Contact Center environment preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
