Description
Investment Counselors are phone-based advisors that provide clients with holistic financial advice and guidance by identifying broader product and service solutions that meet their investment, savings and liability management solutions. They must demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets and apply key principles appropriately to the individual client's investment needs. Additionally, they align the firms products and services where appropriate.

Required Qualifications
Series 7 & 66 Required
Strong computer skills with an ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Passion for excellence and willingness to work to exceed client expectations
Fast learner; able to grasp complex technical material quickly
Bachelor's degree (business related discipline strongly preferred), or 1-2 years relevant work experience
Desired
Capable of effectively operating in a team oriented and highly collaborative environment
Extraordinary interpersonal skills, a strong team orientation and resiliency
Ability to effectively manage workload
Superior client service proficiency including excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
Financial services industry experience
Strong understanding and ability to communicate the suite of the firms products and services
Successful candidate is not required to have a book of business, all clients and leads will be provided. May be a great opportunity for an advisor who cannot move their current book of business.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
