LMDS has an opening for a Manager Subcontract Programs 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
This position will be located in Chandler, Arizona.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for major subcontractors or major subcontracted systems.
Responsible for managing a team of Supplier Program ManagersDirects and manages all cost, schedule and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system.
Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor; briefs executive management and customer on the status and issues affecting performance or cost; and conducts program reviews with the subcontractor and program office.
Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability.
Makes decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor.
Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications.
Leads team composed of engineers, quality and procurement personnel.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 9 years relevant experience (7 years with a Masters) in operations, supply chain, business, or program managementAdvanced knowledge of supply chain management techniques, practices, processes, tools, and planning.
Including Subcontract management in a development program phase with Cost Plus contract types, processes, tools, and planningMinimum of 3 years in a formal lead/management positionMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearanceAdvanced knowledge of supply chain management techniques, practices, processes, tools, and planning.
Strong strategic, innovative, and critical thinking skillsProficiency in MS Office suitePreferred
Qualifications:
Current and active Security ClearanceFamiliarity with the 3 Element Approach to Supplier Performance ManagementHigh proficiency with CostPoint, particularly Supply Chain/MRP transactionsAdvanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas and building reportsExperience and/or knowledge in a manufacturing environmentWhat We Offer:

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday offSalary Range:
$138,400.
00 - $207,600.
00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
