We are currently seeking a talented Level 3 Strategic Technician to join our client's team onsite in Chandler, AZ.
Duties and
Responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring OS on client systems

  • Migrating client data to new systems

  • Picking up surplus equipment from users

  • Preparing old equipment for re-dispositioning and e-waste handling

  • Processing and testing failed systems returned from clients

  • Ensuring all client inventory assets are stored and distributed in a clean and professional manner

  • May be required to perform client or interdepartmental deliveries

  • Daily and quarterly preventative maintenance checks in the conference room environment

  • Daily updates in the database of record, both online and offline

  • Monitoring of online queues to assist customers with break / fix and meeting support requests

  • Assisting with large deployment or renovation projects

  • Server landing / decommission
  • Landing preparation

  • Rail / hardware installation

  • Cabling

  • Remote management setup

  • Prep for shipping if needed

  • Designate parts identified for waterfall usage

  • Proper hard drive handling and disposal

  • Unboxing / boxing of servers, ISM paperwork for shipments

  • Provide escort service for vendors / techs

  • Maintain ISMP ticketing system

  • RFID application / scanning, inventory labeling

  • Help transport hardware from lab to lab
  • Help deploy new tool PC's

  • Help disposition old hardware

  • Help audit machine hostnames, serial numbers, network to drop information

  • Help update asset records, fix, and maintain inventory

  • Help clean up old lab and storage spaces

  • Help sort re-use parts for stock

  • Help monitor the queue for the Acronis backup failure tickets and re-run the manual backups and apply standard fix if they continue to fail

  • Putting OS on non-IT supported systems
  • Break / fix support of software / hardware issues

  • Managing and updating ISMP


Skills and
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3
    years of technical experience desired

  • Must be willing to travel between buildings using personal car / foot

  • Must be able to work independently

  • Must be flexible

  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs. solo

  • May be required to walk / sit / stand / crawl / kneel for extended periods

  • Must have excellent customer service skills and excellent written / verbal communication skills

  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word primarily), Windows 8 and Windows 10

  • Technical certifications a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
