Well Groomed Pets is seeking highly experienced and motivated dog groomers

WE ARE NOT LOOKING TO TRAIN ANYONE NEW TO DOG GROOMING AT THIS TIME.
Responsibilities:
- Provide grooming services for various types of pets, including dogs and cats - Perform bathing, brushing, and hair trimming according to client preferences and breed standards - Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other basic grooming services - Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process - Maintain a clean and organized grooming area - Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests - Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions from pet owners Skills:
- Animal handling:
Ability to safely handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures - Pet grooming:
Proficient in various grooming techniques, including bathing, brushing, and hair trimming - Kennel:
Knowledge of kennel operations and ability to handle pets in a kennel environment - Heavy lifting:
Ability to lift and carry heavy animals or equipment as needed - Veterinary assistant:
Basic understanding of veterinary procedures and ability to assist veterinarians if necessary - Veterinary technician:
Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and ability to provide basic medical care for pets - Dog handling:
Experience in handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments - Customer service:
Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service to pet owners - Animal care:
Understanding of animal behavior, health, and welfare - Pet sitting:
Experience in providing pet sitting services, including feeding, walking, and administering medications Note:
Prior experience as a professional pet groomer is required.
Candidates should have a genuine love for animals and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
